Good News for the World

What does it look like to see beyond the world as it is and glimpse the world as God intends it to be? That is the question at the heart of this message drawn from Revelation 7:9-10, where the apostle John describes a vast, uncountable multitude gathered from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing together before the throne of God and the Lamb, crying out that salvation belongs to God alone. The vision is staggering in its scope, and it raises an urgent challenge for us: if that is where history is headed, how does it shape the way we live and move and serve right now? The message reminds us that in Scripture, vision is never merely a distant comfort. It is a call to action. Abraham left home. Moses returned to Egypt. Isaiah said send me. Biblical vision moves people across boundaries and into mission. We are invited to ask whether we are willing to be moved in the same way, to look at our neighborhoods, our city, our state, and our world and ask not only who is here but who is not yet here, and where God might be sending us next.
