This is Christmas at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond
Our focus will be to seek, find, share, and receive the peace that can only be found in Jesus. We want to share that journey with you! Our focus this year is “Peace on Earth,” and we’ve created this website to help bring peace to you. This year, more than ever, Christmas is our hope for peace. We hope that by visiting here regularly you will be reminded of opportunities available to you to experience the peace that Jesus brings this Christmas. Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here!

RECEIVE PEACE

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
We invite you to RECEIVE PEACE at our Christmas Eve services, taking place both live and online at 4:00pm and 6:00pm on Thursday, December 24th. For those staying safe at home this Christmas, you can reserve a Christmas Eve box for your family and then tune in to watch the Christmas Eve service – our prayer is that all of this is a gift for you. Just contact the church at 405.341.3602 to reserve your Christmas Eve box, or email your request to [email protected]. We want you to experience the Peace that Jesus brings!

FPCE Christmas Eve Services are online and in person this year. Even though some may worship from home we want you to have all the supplies you need to participate.

Come pick up your Christmas Eve Receive Peace bag that includes 2 candles, an ornament from FPCE Kids, water bottle stickers from FPCE Students and an invitation to attend. Bags can be picked up from 9 am-12 pm M-F at the church. When you stop by don’t forget to grab the Family Advent Box from our night of worship. *While supplies last

Seek Peace

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL
As imperfect people, we continually strive to Seek Peace through Jesus’s example. Below, you’ll find a FREE Advent Devotional to help you focus your attention on the peace that comes from Christ alone. These are short devotionals written just for you by people of our community who share their personal experiences seeking – and finding – God’s peace in difficult times. We invite you to take time each day during this Advent season to spend some quiet time reflecting on God’s peace as you read through the devotion. Additionally, each day provides ways to share peace with your family! There is a suggested activity for families in the Family Corner at the bottom of each page. These are activities that can be done with kids of all ages and parents of all stages of life, designed to promote peace in your home!

SHARE PEACE

MISSION PARTNERS
At First Pres, we believe in SHARING PEACE; and this Christmas we’re doing that by engaging those around us – our friends, our neighbors – and extending a personal invitation to be a part of our community. We also will be supporting our local mission partners in various ways. Bring non-perishable food items to our Find Peace Night of Worship on Friday, December 11th.  These donations will go to stock the Food Pantry at César Chávez Elementary in OKC. For it is through giving that we receive; and by working together, we can be agents of change and bring peace to the world around us.

FIND PEACE

NIGHT OF WORSHIP
Our Christmas Night of Worship is happening on Friday, December 11th. We’ll have an indoor, outdoor, and online option for attending; and there will be a Carol Sing, special music, and time for fellowship starting at 6:30pm. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs! This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors! Our pre-service show will begin at 6:45pm and service will begin at 7:00pm. After the service, we’ll have more time for fellowship in the front parking lot and time for socially-distanced fellowship with our neighbors.
