Called to Love
Caring for one another is one of the ways we give back to the FPCE Community. The Congregational Care Ministry coordinates benevolence, bereavement, hospital care, pastor-on-call, and the needs of the aging.
If you would like to request prayer from the congregation, visit the Prayer Request page (link to Global – Prayer page). Feel free to call the church during business hours, or for after-hours emergencies call ext. 3 to reach a pastor on call. On Sunday mornings, all are welcome to join group prayer in the undercroft during church services.
Yellow Card Ministry
The yellow card ministry helps people at church send words of encouragement to others. Yellow cards are found every Sunday in the sanctuary. Fill out a yellow card and place it in the offering plate, and the church will see that it is delivered.
If you have had a death in the family, a serious illness, or other crisis and would like to request meals, a pastor visit or other assistance, please contact the church office at 341-3602, ext. 107.
Contact Deacon Dwight Schulke at 341-1632 if you or a family member is unable to attend church and would like to receive homebound communion.
We provide transportation to church for our shut-ins who are living at Tealridge and Touchmark Living Center. Contact Deacon Bill Hainer at 475-9202.
Time & Tool Ministry
If you are unable to accomplish minor home repairs or yard work yourself, contact Deacon Jim Bower at 405-820-2925.
If you are experiencing a difficult period in your life and would like a trained Stephen Minister to walk with you, contact Richard Sternlof at 341-5927.
